Mark Baker

Mark S. Baker has lived in Virginia since 2002. He is a career journalist with more than 30 years of experience in both an editorial capacity and various office environments. He began his career while attending college at the University of Houston in the sports department of The Houston Post, editing, writing, and laying out pages. From there, he worked at several newspapers and periodicals in multiple editorial capacities, including editor and copy chief. He also served as a subject matter expert for Microsoft on its search engine projects. Since 2009, he has worked remotely for several publications, including Forbes, Fortune, and Fit Small Business.
